DIN1.3343/AISI M2 High Speed Steel

1.3343 high speed steel is a complex steel, and its carbon content is generally 0.70-1.65%. The content of alloy elements is high, and the total amount can reach 10-25%. Its technological performance is good, and its strength and toughness are well matched. 1.3343 is mainly used to manufacture complex thin edges and impact resistant metal cutting tools, as well as high-temperature bearings and cold extrusion dies.

Application
It meets the standard high-speed steel grade. Owing to its well-balanced alloy composition,High toughness and good cutting power, making it suitable for a wide variety of applications. For all metal-cutting tools used for roughing or finishing, such as twist drills, all kinds of milling cutters, screw taps, screw dies, broaches, reamers, countersinks, chasers, segments for circular saws, shaping tools and woodworking tools. Also highly suitable for cold-forming tools, such as cold extrusion rams and dies, as well as for cutting and precision cutting tools, plastics molds with elevated wear resistance and screws.
