Wear resistant steel plate is a kind of good wear resistant special plate, which can well adapt to the working conditions requiring large area wear.

The wear-resistant steel plate is composed of low-carbon steel plate and alloy wear-resistant layer. The thickness of alloy wear-resistant layer is generally 1/3~1/2 of the total thickness. The matrix is used to provide the strength, toughness, plasticity and other comprehensive properties required to resist external forces; The alloy wear layer provides the wear resistance required to meet the specified working conditions.

The alloy wear-resistant layer of wear-resistant steel plate is metallurgically bonded with the substrate. Through special equipment and automatic welding process, the high hardness self-protection alloy welding wire is uniformly welded on the substrate. The number of composite layers requires one to two or even multiple layers stay.

In the process of composite, uniform transverse cracks are easy to occur due to different shrinkage ratios of the alloys. The alloy wear-resistant layer is mainly composed of chromium alloy, in addition, manganese, molybdenum, niobium, nickel and other alloy components are added. The carbide in the metallographic structure is distributed in the form of fiber, and the fiber direction is perpendicular to the surface. The micro hardness of carbide can reach HV1700-2000 or above, and the surface hardness can reach HRC58-62. Alloy carbide has strong stability under high temperature, can maintain high hardness, and has good oxidation resistance. It can be used normally within 500 ℃.

The wear resistant layer is characterized by narrow (2.5-3.5mm), wide (8-12mm), curve (S, W), etc; It is mainly chromium alloy, and other alloy components such as manganese, molybdenum, niobium, nickel and boron are also added. Carbides in the metallographic structure are distributed as fibers, and the fiber direction is perpendicular to the surface. Carbide content is 40-60%, the microhardness can reach HV1700 or above, and the surface hardness can reach HRC58-62.

Wear resistant steel plates are mainly divided into three types: universal type, impact resistant type and high temperature resistant type. The total thickness of wear-resistant steel plate can reach 5.5 (2.5+3) mm at least and 30 (15+15) mm at most; The wear-resistant steel plate can be rolled into wear-resistant pipes with a minimum diameter of DN200, and can be processed into wear-resistant elbows, wear-resistant tees, and wear-resistant reducers.
